Cass, along with our excellent Wine Suppliers, Four Walls Wines in Chilgrove, has carefully
curated a Wine List designed to satisfy a wide range of tastes.

If you are not sure about your choice, please feel to ask Cass or one of our waitresses for advice.

Our Sunday Lunch Menu

Enjoy a relaxed Sunday Lunch featuring many of our A la Carte dishes, plus a roast of the day with all the trimmings. It is a great way to eat our A la Carte at a reduced price!

About Us

Cassons Restaurant has been trading since 2003, with Cass front of house and Viv in the kitchen. We’ve weathered the storms of recessions and Covid, and are still here smiling and serving all our lovely customers delicious and exciting food, served with care and attention.
Cass runs the house with his lovely girls Tina and Claudia, and Viv is in the kitchen ably aided by Hannah, Sally and Imogen.
Our aim is to give you a memorable experience, in the hope that, like so many of our customers, you will become a regular.

“Another superb dining experience (it would be limited to call it a mere meal) at one of all time favourite restaurants. We have experienced both lunch and dinner here but now tend to opt for the incredible Sunday lunches as it suits the elder statesman in our party. Indeed Casson’s is probably my 93 year old dad’s favourite excursion! We often plan to just have two courses but are invariably tempted by three as the menu always looks so appetising. There is always a range of starter and main course options – cooked to perfection – but it is all the Michelin quality sauces and presentation which really make the food come alive. The roast beef yesterday was sublime – empty plates all round – and it would be a mistake to pass on the beautiful desserts (and well curated wine list) as these are always exceptional. What really sets this restaurant apart though is that you feel you are treated as a guest rather than just a customer – the long standing team work exceptionally well together and the warm glow lives long in the heart and stomach. As always we look forward to our next visit.”
