A Warm Welcome to Cassons Chichester Restaurant offering Fine Dining in relaxed surroundings 2.5 miles East of the City. Handily placed for Goodwood, Fontwell and also the Chichester Theatre, this charming restaurant is a valuable asset to the area, thanks to the care and dedication of owners Viv and 'Cass' Casson. Cass runs the front of house with impeccable efficiency while being relaxed and welcoming. He is a genial host and a well-travelled wine buff - so expect plenty of good humour as well as an interesting list of unusual bottles from around the globe. Viv the chef has a long pedigree and was instrumental in starting the food movement in Emsworth back in the 80's. She has had restaurants in London, Emsworth, France and now Tangmere and her regulars have followed her. She cooks with flair and imagination and uses top quality local produce including fish and shellfish, local meats and game and vegetables from local farms. A dedicated chef and perfectionist. She definitely deserves recognition as one of the top chefs in the field. Celebrating our seventh successful year and featuring in the major Food Guides, Cassons is becoming known as the best Restaurant in the area.
